Hello everybody!
Here is some interesting material you can use for extra preparation:
• I've just discovered this site (http://www.englishrevealed.co.uk/), it looks pretty good. There is also a premium version, for which you have to pay, which offers more tests and seems reasonable in price. Have a look!
• Here is a video of exactly how the speaking exam takes place
Here is another one:
Hope you like it!

Hello !
• Watch the 6 videos
Josh
Hanshen
Oren
Summer
They are all videos from students who want to study film-making at Chapman University
(Si les videos “rament” pour se télécharger, vous trouverez les fichiers d’origine dans votre casier de classe)
• For each video:
- Say all the things they like
- Say what their personality seems to be like (use the list seen in class)
- Say what you like and what you don’t like about their video (music, creativity, hobbies,…)
- Say which people could be friends of yours
• Use the comment section (“ajouter un commentaire”):
Imagine only 2 people from the list can go to Chapman University. Write a comment to justify which people are the best. React to what people say: do you agree or disagree...you must defend them!
Hope you like the activity !

The extract we have seen starts at 2'00 and finishes at 5'29.

Here is what Jamie Oliver decided to do to put kids off chicken nuggets, by showing them what "mechanically reclaimed meat" really means.
Following our lesson today, here are a few websites of interest:
Examples of Limericks (with a good, simple description of its form in the introduction)
Oscar Wilde Quotes: a good example of British Wit
Choose your favourite Oscar Wilde Quote and print it on a page, using Times New Roman font, size 20, so we can make a class display.
Cheerio!
