Joyce and the Art of Storytelling

One of the presentation will aim at making alink between Joyce and the typically Irish art of Storyelling. ISnce this is something we have not talked about in class particularly, here are some links that could help you. Just read them and try to summarise it:

The way to link it with Joyce specifically is to look at his technique in writing: how to keep the reader interested, rhythm, repetition of sounds and the "thread" of the story. Also look at the context of stories and how typically Irish the scenes are.
